CLACHNACUDDIN arrive at Station Park this weekend looking for a third successive victory over Nairn County having done the double over Ronnie Sharp's men with a pair of single-goal victories during last season.

County bagged an injury time winner to down reigning Highland League champions, Buckie Thistle last Saturday and Sharp will be keen for his charges to reproduce the sort of display that saw them come away from Victoria Park with such a welcome three points.

Clach though, will have felt aggrieved not to have taken at least a point from Buckie themselves on the opening day of the season just a fortnight ago with the Jags eking out a 1-0 win in which the Lilywhites missed a second half penalty to draw level for what would have been a deserved share of the spoils on the day.

Having seen his players turn over Lossiemouth the following midweek, manager Iain Polworth was again left cursing his luck last Saturday after seeing Turriff United battle their way to a 1-0 win at Grant Street Park. They will make the short journey to Nairn looking to add the points that their performances have deserved and draw level with their hosts in the embryonic league standings.

Team news: Two of last weekend's three goalscorers are doubts for Clachnacuddin's trip to Station Park. Both Jordan MacRae (ankle) and Jack Maclean (knee) sustained injuries which have restricted their ability to train this week and could miss out on the visit of the Lilywhites. Striker Dylan Mackenzie had to be substituted in that match at Victoria Park early on in the second half after taking a heavy knock and he too remains a doubt. Returning to the fold though are both Ross and Adam Naismith, who were unavailable for the trip to Buckie Thistle last time out due to work commitments and suspension respectively. Also back in contention is goalkeeper Dylan Maclean, who has returned from holiday. This match will come too early for last season's top scorer Gary Kerr as he is continuing to build up fitness again after summer knee surgery. Club captain Gregg Main is still sidelined through a knee injury while Jason Morganti and Stephen Mackenzie have long term work commitments and Calum Riddell is unavailable.

One to watch: Daniel MacLennan. The powerful centre forward made all of the difference when these two sides met back at the end of last year. He headed home Clach's opener in that match at Station Park before bulldozing his way through the County defence to set up Michael Finnis for a late winner. Having played overseas in Australia and missed the start of last season, he returned to Grant Street and immediately hit the ground running and now with an solid pre-season under his belt, the striker will be looking to put Nairn to the sword once more.
