A TRIP to Bellslea would have been near the bottom of Les Fridge and his players’ list of destinations as they attempt to put Wednesday night’s heavy defeat to Brora Rangers behind them but that is the reality County are faced with against a Broch side who surprisingly are yet to win at home in the league this season. Something will have to give tomorrow and a preview of the match is below.

Team news: Goalkeeper Calum Antell will serve a suspension following his red card against Brora Rangers in midweek. The second and final game of his ban comes against Cove Rangers away from home on Saturday October 3rd. That leaves manager Les Fridge with Dylan Maclean and Sam Maclean to choose from, although he may opt to draft in a trialist again as he did when Antell was banned earlier in the season. Michael Morrison returned from injury in midweek and came through unscathed but both Martin MacDonald and Tony Wallace are still out with knee injuries. Andrew Hardwick is on loan to Fort William and Kenny McKenzie is again unavailable.

One to watch: Graham Johnston. Powerful centre forward and a one-club man who has been in the Broch team for over a decade despite still being in his 20s. Lively attacker with the capabilities of causing the County defence problems and will have a big part to play from the off with Fraserburgh likely to go at Nairn from the first whistle of this one in pursuit of an early goal to set the tone.

Match officials: Referee Dan MacFarlane; Assistants Daniel Rae and Frazer Bushell

Weather forecast: Light rain 14 degrees 27 mph wind

Admission prices: Adults £8 Children / OAPs £5 (two children under the age 14 are admitted for free if they are accompanied by a paying adult).
