Team news: Calum Antell will be back between the posts for Nairn having missed Saturday’s defeat at Fraserburgh through suspension. The second of his two-game Highland League ban is due to be served at Cove Rangers on October 3rd. Kenny McKenzie is also likely to be available again but Martin MacDonald and Tony Wallace are still ruled out with knee injuries and there are doubts over Gregg Main and Bradley Halsman. Andrew Hardwick is on loan to Fort William.
One to watch: Liam Baxter. The lively forward has already proved to be a valuable addition for the Mechanics since arriving from Buckie Thistle in the summer. With Kris Duncan and Ross Archibald being sold to Keith and Lossiemouth respectively in the summer, Baxter’s presence in the Forres team is even more important and having struggled recent with a hamstring issue, manager Charlie Rowley will be desperate for his pacy attacker to be fit and firing in this one, especially as his strike partner Lee Fraser was stretchered off in Saturday’s win over Deveronvale and remains a fitness doubt.
