IT is a second trip to Pitmedden in less than a week as the team makes the journey to take on Formartine United at North Lodge after visiting Cove Rangers at the same venue on Saturday. A full preview of the match is below.

Date: Wednesday October 7th 2015

Competition: Scottish Highland League

Venue: North Lodge, Pitmedden

Team news: Goalkeeper Calum Antell will be back between the posts for County after serving his two-match suspension but Gregg Main still has two games left of his ban and misses this one as a result. Martin MacDonald and Tony Wallace are still sidelined with knee injuries but Callum Maclean is fit again and was on the bench on Saturday.

One to watch: Scott Barbour. Any one of a number of attacking threats could have been singled out in this Formartine side with the likes of Neil Gauld, Garry Wood and Cammy Keith to select from in an embarrassment of riches in attack while former Motherwell, Ross County and Celtic midfielder Paul Lawson has lived up to his reputation since moving to North Lodge in the summer. But the pace and trickery of two-time Highland League Young Player of the Year Barbour adds that extra dimension to the Formartine attack and is something that Nairn will have to combat if they are to emerge with a positive result.

Match officials: Referee Graham Beaton; Assistants Ian Bailey and David MacLennan

Weather forecast: Heavy rain 9 degrees 16 mph wind

Admission prices: Adults £8 Children / OAPs £5 (two children under the age 14 are admitted for free if they are accompanied by a paying adult).
