Calum Riddell Memorial Benches were unveiled at Station Park this afternoon exactly one year to the day after Calum’s final football appearance at the ground.

Calum died last year at the age of just 28 and played his last match for the club in the final fixture of last season, which took place a year ago today.

THE club is delighted to confirm the appointments of Craig Park and Scott Andrew as our new under-13s team’s coaches.

Park takes on the role of Head Coach for the team, who will be competing in the Moray Firth Development League for the very first time next season.

The team will also be sponsored by PeterGow.co.uk (Utility Warehouse), who’s logo will be printed on the side’s new kit.

IAN Payne’s late strike ensured Nairn County U20s ended their home programme of fixtures for the 2017/18 season on a winning note with victory over Alness United.

RONNIE Sharp praised his Nairn County players as they ended the season on a high by winning 3-0 away at Highland League champions Cove Rangers thanks to a double from Cohen Ramsay and Tom Maclennan’s thumping volley.

NAIRN County secured a top-half finish in the Highland League table and surpassed the 50-point mark with their biggest away win over Cove Rangers ever, inflicting only the second league defeat of the season on the newly-crowned Highland League champions.

A POOR start to the second half cost Nairn County under-20s dearly as they went down to Lossiemouth at Station Park.

Lossie were inches away from opening the scoring on 18 minutes. Brodie Allen spun and fired goalwards from just inside the box but his shot deflected narrowly past the post.
