DYLAN Mackenzie put his first ever senior hat-trick on the board on a night of high drama at Station Park as Nairn County came back from two goals down to record a 3-2 success over Wick Academy.

IT has been a decent start to the season for Nairn County with last weekend's win over Turriff United ensuring that the club took 10 points from their opening five fixtures in this year's Scottish Highland League campaign. RONNIE Sharp described his side's first half display at Turriff United as the best he has seen since taking over as Nairn County manager a little over a year ago.

Sharp watched on as Ross Naismith scored the goal that gave County the advantage at half time before the same player doubled Nairn's lead from the penalty spot after the restart.

ROSS Naismith returned to the Nairn County team with a bang as his two goals at Turriff United were enough to see the visitors come away with all three points.

County threatened three minutes in when Callum Maclean got his boot to Ross Naismith's in-swinging corner from the left with a deft touch at the near post but the ball flew across goal and rose over the bar.
