MATTY Macleod notched his first Nairn St Ninian goal on Saturday to help the Showfield side to joint top of the First Division (West) table.

Macleod came off the bench to round off the scoring in the 9-0 thumping of Whitehills on Saturday with Scott Hendry (3), Charlie Fonweban, Simon Hill (2), Gavin Chisholm and Wallace Wilson all also on target.

RONNIE Sharp has continued developing his plans for the next few seasons by tying a further two players down to new contracts.

Kenny McKenzie has signed a one-year extension to his existing contract with Stephen Mackenzie agreeing a two-year extension, keeping both players at the club until the summer of 2019. The news follows on from Callum Maclean, Jack Maclean and Jordan Macrae signing new deals last week.

Contract extensions for attacking pair

STRIKE duo Gary Kerr and Ross Naismith have both signed contract extensions at Station Park this evening keeping them with Nairn County until the summer of 2019.

Kerr's one-year deal was due to expire in the summer but he has penned a two-year extension while Naismith has agreed a one-year extension to his existing contract in what is a huge boost to the club.

CALLUM Maclean notched a 93rd minute leveller for Nairn County to take a share of the spoils from what boss Ronnie Sharp felt was his side's worst performance for several weeks.
