A FLYING start by Nairn County under-20s helped them on their way to a local derby win over Forres Mechanics at the Academy Playing Fields, writes Graeme Macleod.

A COMBINATION of an inspired performance by Turriff United goalkeeper, Kevin Main and rustiness from his side in front of goal prevented Nairn County from taking something out of yesterday's game at Station Park, according to manager Les Fridge.
