Pre-season Friendlies finalised

THE club has finalised its pre-season schedule with two Premier League clubs and a SPF League 1 club due to visit Station Park next month, writes Graeme Macleod.

The squad will ramp up their preparations for the 2015/16 Scottish Highland League season on Saturday July 4th with their first friendly of the summer. Les Fridge’s side will face Dores AFC in a bounce match at Millburn Academy.

Legends vs Supporters

THE first ever Nairn County Legends v Supporters match raised almost £1300 on Saturday.

The match at the Riverside ended in a comfortable 12-0 win for the Legends with Marc MacDonald, Steven Sanderson (3), Scott Kellacher (4), team captain Mark Holmes (3) and David Kennedy among the goals.

The other former players in the Legends team were John Seaton, Ronnie Sharp, Gary Farquhar and Michael Sanderson.

ANDREW Skinner was tonight unveiled as Nairn County’s first signing of the summer. The former Clachnacuddin full back has moved to Station Park on a three-year contract.

The 20-year-old linked up with his new team mates for the start of pre-season training as the build-up to the 2015/16 Highland League campaign began in earnest.

TICKETS for Martin MacDonald’s Testimonial Match between Nairn County and Aberdeen go on sale this Saturday.

The fixture takes place on Tuesday July 21st (kick off: 8.00 pm). Ticket prices have been set at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions as Nairn County pay tribute to their long-serving centre half.
