ARCHIE Macphee's second half strike secured all three points for Nairn County in their final match of the season, writes Graeme Macleod. The win at Formartine United was enough to secure a third place finish in the league.

The hosts took the lead on 33 minutes through Cammy Keith but Nairn struck back almost immediate as Conor Gethins netted his 41st goal of the season on 35 minutes.

STRIKER Gary Kerr marked his first start for Nairn County with the opening goal in Saturday's 3-0 at Rothes.

Kerr has had to be patient awaiting his chance but he certainly made a positive impression as he excelled in the absence of Stuart Leslie and John Cameron.

A new rousing anthem is about to hit the terraces and the international airwaves.

It is not a Brazilian samba to mark this summer's World Cup, but an infectious locally produced pop song to celebrate Nairn County's centenary year and timed for the special 2014-15 special season.

TUART Leslie popped up to head Nairn County to all three points in the final home game of the season.

In a tame first half, Robbie Duncanson tested Buckie goalkeeper Kevin Main with an 18-yard grounder before the stopper denied Adam Naismith with his face.
